While the winner of tonight’s contest will directly progress to the final, the loser will play the victor of the Eliminator between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals in Qualifer 2 on May 29 for a second shot at making it to the summit clash.

Phil Salt, who Bethell was playing in place of, has missed the majority of the tournament with a finger injury himself.
