Zimbabwe (ZIM) will face Australia (AUS) in the first of three one-day internationals at Harare Sports Club in Harare on Tuesday, September 15. Sikandar Raza captains the hosts in the absence of regular skipper Richard Ngarava, who is still healing from a lower-back injury, while Zimbabwe arrives with genuine momentum after defeating Bangladesh 2-1 at home in a one-day international series in July. Australia, led by Mitchell Marsh, enters the tour after a difficult 2026 season in which they lost straight three-match ODI series 2-1 to Pakistan and Bangladesh.
The two sides last met in 2026, when Zimbabwe defeated Australia by 23 runs at the T20 World Cup in February, with Blessing Muzarabani leading the way, giving the hosts a recent psychological advantage, despite Australia's vast historical advantage in the 50-over format.
