Star India batter Yashasvi Jaiswal took to Instagram and commented on a post where commentator Harsha Bhogle was talking about whether or not Jaiswal crossed a line by getting involved in an altercation with Asitha Fernando.

The Indian team has been putting on a good show against Sri Lanka; the side posted a total of 300 runs with the loss of five wickets by the end of day 1 of the clash in Colombo. Among the many talking points from the game, the dismissal of Yashasvi Jaiswal has managed to capture many headlines.
It is worth noting that Jaiswal was in good form on the first day but was dismissed for 45 runs in the first innings. After his dismissal, Jaiswal got into an altercation with Asitha Fernando, which became a huge talking point among experts.
Furthermore, after the end of the day’s play, India commentator Harsha Bhogle came forward and discussed the moment and talked about whether or not Jaiswal crossed the line. The same did not seem to sit well with the star batter, as he made a comment on the Instagram video, reflecting on the incident.
“If you don’t know what he said then please don’t make your judgment if anyone cross the line we need to let them know this India will fight and reply,” Jaiswal commented.
Sitanshu Kotak reflected on the moment
After the end of day 1, India’s batting coach Sitanshu Kotak took centre stage and talked about the altercation between Jaiswal and Fernando, claiming that emotions took over, and said that he should not have engaged as he did in the day.
"I think they must have said something to him and it might have happened in the heat of the moment. Obviously, Jaiswal, I don't think he should have been so close to Fernando, but that happens when you are in the heat of the moment," Kotak said after the day's play.
It could be interesting to see if any ICC (International Cricket Council) sanction is imposed on Jaiswal for the moment and if any action is taken against the batter or against Fernando. Thankfully, the incident did not escalate, and Jaiswal walked away after exchanging words with Fernando, and he would look to give it back with his performance in the second innings of the game.
